I wanted to add LED lights to my 100 gallon tank but didn't want to spend more than $500 on a pair of Kessil or Aqua Illumination lights. TBH I bought these hoping they would last a year or two and then I would upgrade them. I was positively surprised. These lights do a great job of illuminating my 26" deep aquarium. They maintain a pretty good intensity, although there are a few dimly lit areas on the outside edges of my tank. I installed them on the back glass of a rimless aquarium. This is one of the reasons for poor lighting. There are two glass mounts and an overflow that interfere with the mounts that come with the lights. If I could dilute them a bit better I would have better light transmission and opacity. I have first Bought two and liked them so much I'm going to buy a third and frame them across the top of the tank rather than using the mounting brackets that came with it.Based on my experience with the two I have I think this is a great one Possibility would be to use these lights, the clamps are a bit flimsy, I extended them fully and the light comes in few. I don't think they fall off anyway, but they aren't very strong. That's my only criticism. Otherwise, the light blocks feel well built. They never get hot and the color is really good. I like that they are adjustable. Overall I am very happy with these lights.
