I love these lights! the best interior lighting

I don't recall reading that they come with a hub but they do. So in case you didn't know, these lights come with a hub that receives 'door phone' style plugs located at the end of each lighting cord. Although the wires for the headlights are quite long, 3-4 feet, it didn't fit my plans for these headlights. I wanted to use them in 2 different rooms in my van, 4 above the bathroom sink and 3 above the kitchen sink. But no problem, for the bathroom I simply cut off the plugs, cut the wiring to the existing fixtures and then soldered the new wires to the old wires. By the way, the wires to the headlights are positive and negative, without marking. So you need to determine what's what in order for them to work. I actually used a Makita battery to determine positive/negative, things get really bright at 18v lol. Then for the kitchen, now that I knew what to expect from the wiring I was able to use the hub/plug setup, connecting to the primary +/- that powered the old bulbs and plugging them in the +/- of the hub soldered and .ta yes! These bulbs, combined with replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs in other lights in my RV, have a huge impact on how I enjoy my RV. I used to be so stingy with the light because when it was left on, it was not uncommon for the battery to run out completely. With the changes I've made now, I've actually woken up to find I've left the lights on all night without really draining the battery. game changer.

Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
