We purchased this to use heat shrink cartridges to mark numbers on 20-18 AWG wire. The minimum diameter is 1/4", which is good, but the minimum length of each cut is 1 1/4", which is about 65 labels for the entire cartridge. Thus, about 75% of each cartridge is waste. If someone could show me how to cut each heat shrink tube to about 1/4" length per cut it would be worth it. That minimum length is ridiculous. We even tried rotating text on a 1" wide sticky label. Same minimum cut length BS 1". Talk about an open draw of money. I could put five different numbers on the heat shrink tubing pictured below if it weren't for the length limit.
