If it was soft and MUCH larger than I expected, that's a plus. I don't think I looked at the measurements, I just saw it in a photo next to the sofa and assumed it was a smaller round rug. i love color The reason for 4 stars is the smell and direction. It was packaged well and the quality seems great, but it smells like glue and a lot of people in my family said so without me mentioning it. As for directions. It says "hand wash" which I understand now due to the longer fibers of the rug, but I want a rug that can be easily thrown in the washing machine. so it's partly my fault. Overall I don't regret the order but I hope the smell goes away! I ordered this for my 9 month old so he can sit and play. I'll skip this but use it under his sweater instead.
