Review on 🚗 Alpine MicroBypass Parking Brake Override Bypass Enhancer by Reginald Pitt

Doesn't work on my Alpine ilx 207. I have a Subaru BRZ with manual transmission. I connect Blue/White (MB) to Blue/White (Stereo), Yellow/Green (MB) to Yellow/Green (Stereo) and Black (MB) to Black (Stereo). Black and white is not used in this stereo system. It does not matter. From blue-white (MB) to blue/white (stereo) and black (MB) to black (stereo), I played with yellow/green. 1. Yellow/Green (MB) + Yellow/Green (Stereo) and no handbrake cable, does nothing. 2. Yellow/Green (MB) + Yellow/Green (Stereo) + Gray (Handbrake) does nothing. 3. Normally the settings work if yellow/green (stereo) + gray (parking brake) only work when handbrake is on. But why does microbypass turn it off when it's plugged into #2 above? BUT if Yellow/Green (MB) is applied to #3 above when the menu is activated, only at this point does the micro-bypass work as expected and the bypass weather handbrake may or may not be disabled. When the car restarts, it doesn't work again (see #2 above). Not sure if the blue/white (MB) should be connected to the blue (stereo) remote instead as someone suggested because it activates too soon? sure it was installed correctly). I had a pimple on the microbypass, I'm not sure what it is, most likely I burned it during the installation process (I had a factory amp in my car and the wiring was a little different). Regardless, Matt created a custom device that works with my setup. He came today; Installed according to instructions and everything worked. Hands down the best service and support.
