Review on JEYI Copper HeatSink Passive Heatsinks by Steve Brethorst

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small test between Jeyi Q150 and Digifast on Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB

Purpose: Reduce controller temperature by maintaining Nand Flash temperature during recording. Test: I used Samsung Magician to run the benchmarks and heat up the nvme drive. HWinfo was used to check the temperature of the controller. The thermal pad has been cut in half to ensure it only touches the controller and drum. There was no thermal pad on the NAND chips. Conclusion: I prefer the Jeyi Q150 Digifast for my use case. The controller stayed cooler in all tests. Digifast looks better in black on my computer. Your results may vary based on airflow, disc position, and disc make/model. Thoughts and additional information: - There are no instructions in the box. It would be nice to know what is the difference between blue and pink pads. The design is really good. It features a slot to attach the backplate to the heatsink so that single and double sided drives have adequate contact. Additional screws included. An extra for the heatsink and they included a screw to attach your drive to your device.
