Cheap and decent
This is a good device for the money. Most of the other reviews cover important points. I would like to add that sometimes it produces high frequency noise that you can hear. Maybe he's always making noise and I only hear him sometimes. This also applies if the device is switched off but still connected to the network. It also draws 15 watts of power when it's off but still plugged in. Most other DVD players, TVs, etc. use 1-4 watts. I don't know why this is so high. If you plug it in and don't even turn it on, it would use 131kW over the course of a year. At $0.10/kW that would be $13.10 just for the grid connection!
