Like many of the other reviewers here, I have EXTREMELY problems with these splitters. As far as I can tell, if you accidentally twist the RCA while plugging in, the outer ring/shield on the one-way side of the splitter will internally break. By looking at the attached photos of what's going on inside, it's easy to understand why this is happening. These things are pure garbage. I returned mine and chose "JL Audio XD-AICS-1F2F" instead. They're pretty expensive, but at least they don't break.
