Portable monitor with 4k 30Hz and 1080p 120Hz! The perfect accessory for your Series X!

As an avid gamer, I'm always looking for the best peripherals for my gaming systems. Attention, unfortunately I don't have an Xbox Series X yet due to lack of stock. However, I have an old Xbox 360, a Nintendo Switch, and a PC that I tested this monitor with. With that in mind, please note that the shape of this monitor is perfect for the Xbox Series X and as such complements the console perfectly. I also compared this monitor to three monitors I own: two Dell 2721DGF (2560 x 1440p, 165Hz) and a GSTORY portable gaming monitor (1920 x 1080p, 165Hz) (all 3 shown in the pictures). This monitor isn't too good for the full-size 27-inch monitors Dell offers, which is to be expected since this monitor is portable. Still, there's a strong argument that it should be the PERFECT ACCESSORY FOR YOUR X SERIES (especially given the perfect form factor). From a PC/Nintendo Switch/Xbox 360 gamer's perspective, the monitor's resolution is beautiful, especially when running 4k at 3090 (sorry to screw you up, but I swear that was the only graphics card I could get, haha). Here are pros and cons to make this review easy to read: PROS 1) Obviously the perfect form factor: I haven't tried this yet (because I don't have a Series X yet :'( ) but I've seen other reviews and indeed the Compare this monitor's dimensions to the Xbox Series X and it should fit perfectly!2) Nice resolution: 4k actually plays very well on this monitor! 3) Speakers Included: I mean, they might not be Dolby Surround Sound, but the speakers do the trick, especially when transported. 4) Triple AAA batteries included: Mother of Tesla! This must be the second time I have received batteries for a product within the same product order! I know it's small, but it's just a nice touch. 5) 1920 x 1080p @ 120Hz: This resolution and refresh rate is quite achievable for this monitor and can compete with the existing GSTORY 1920 x 1080p 165Hz monitor that I already own. The only difference is that this 12.5 inch Xbox Series X monitor is smaller than the GSTORY monitor I have which is 13.5 inches. CONS: 1) Limited I/O (or I/O if you didn't know): First, the monitor uses a proprietary power supply (as shown in the images). While this power supply is fairly common on most electronics, it could be improved as the current GSTORY monitor I have uses a Type-C connection for power. Second, the monitor only has 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs and 1 2.5mm audio output for speakers. More I/O, particularly HDMI 2.1 or Displayport 1.4a, could make this a popular option for a regular gaming monitor where you have an Xbox Series X rig by the side (which I intend to do). 2) Minimal packaging: The packaging was very elegant on the outside and everything was white. However, I felt that the protective foam inside was very minimal. The screen wasn't covered in plastic or foam, it was simply sandwiched between two pieces of foam. 3) Low refresh rate for 4k resolution: Due to the higher refresh rate in most full-size 4k monitors, this monitor falls a bit behind. It definitely needs an update to take full advantage of the 4k 120Hz resolution and refresh rate that new next-gen consoles can take advantage of. I find this product to be the PERFECT ACCESSORY FOR YOUR X SERIES. As a PC gamer this hasn't really affected me and I would definitely use my current GSTORY monitor instead. However, as a future Xbox Series X player, I look forward to using it and taking it with me on the go! Note. I'll update this review once I get my Series X, so stay tuned!
