Looks like a good product but haven't used it yet. My problem is the missing instructions. It says the mounting eye is removable when not in use in your winch, but doesn't list the 'correct' method of removal. Presumably you cut it off, but then you have the outer shell loosely surrounding the inner core and it's not clear if you need to melt it to hold it together or something else. There is also no information on the easiest way to install the rubber stop. It's EXTREMELY hard rubber and I couldn't pull a cable through it.
