This DISA valve worked great on my 2005 BMW 325i. I saw negative comments from some customers who didn't know how to test it before installing and couldn't install it properly. Checking the vacuum by holding the hole with your finger is not good enough because the amount of vacuum by holding the hole with your finger is not good enough. Even turning the key to the 2nd position does not create a vacuum to close or open the damper. I installed mine and tested the car at idle and at freeway speeds. Works just perfect and no codes.Valve seal and high quality material.Extremely satisfied. 5 Stars
