These leveling feet were just what I needed to securely place my old gun in the right place. The floor in this corner of my basement is pretty uneven, but it was dead space, so I decided to use my old gun safe as an ammo box, but I had to level it there. Well the safe itself weighs over 350 pounds and with ammo it should weigh close to 700 pounds and so far it's holding up well, strong and perfectly level! The safe only has a 1/4 inch thin panel on the inside, so the fire rating (if any) didn't bother me when I drilled through the side. The screws that came with the legs suck! They must not have a Phillips head, otherwise they must be included for wood and self-tapping screws for metal. I've pre-drilled and used 1/2" self-tapping hex nuts and they compress and hold great. I only gave the safe 4 stars because of the included screws. .
