Review on Enhanced 5050 LED Strip Connector Kit: Includes 2 🔌 Way RGB Splitter, Jumper Cables, L Shape PCB, Connectors, and Clips by Joe Bailey

I bought 2 strips for bunk beds. I wanted to split the strips in half so they would continue on the top bunk without catching fire at the plug. It was the perfect set for that! Others have indicated that you need to solder for this to work, but that hasn't been my experience. I used the included piece of plastic, similar to a pick, to cut through the silicone to expose the copper wiring, and then trimmed the silicone off with scissors. I placed it under the clip on the connector, used the two pin connectors to connect to the next item and wrapped the connections with black tape. Worked perfectly! I wish I knew in advance what parts I would need as both ends of the 6 foot connectors require connectors with black on one side and white on the other to do what I need so I could only share one of my two cables as I intended. But it looks great and everything did exactly what I needed. This is the perfect kit for extending and connecting LED strips. However, I tried moving one of the adhesive clips and some of the adhesive came loose in the middle exposing the underlying rubber, rendering it almost unusable afterward. I'm sure it shouldn't be moved, but I wish it wasn't torn in the way it was made to render it so unusable. I really like them and I'm sure I will buy them again in the future when my next LED project comes out!
