We have two separate turtle tanks and have placed them in both. I have never seen our turtles so happy and relaxed as they are under this light. They stretch and dangle their toes in the water and just look happy. I've never seen them behave like this. I've only had them for a week so can't comment on their durability but considering they're cheap I'm not too worried. A month later, my $15 light went out. Now *it* got me. Edit - 4 weeks later they are both fine.
