So far, so good! I bought this for myself for the first time. I opted for what I paid about $32 for at the time. It works well enough for me at a size closest to 11"x17". I use it occasionally when drawing at night, but it's absolutely bright enough to use during the day as well. This is great because you can charge it up and then take it with you and use it anywhere, instead of having to plug it in every time even you use it. The magnets are actually not that good for thicker paper, so I'm trying to find more durable ones. but 4 because the 2 it comes with is not enough for my preference. I also use Alvin paint dots as I've found them to release better than masking or graphic tape. I love it so much I bought it for my 11 year old niece for her birthday. She already loves it so much! One note: you cannot press hard with a pointed tool as this will ruin the surface you are painting on and cause an error in whatever you do on it later. So push carefully (I'm just pretending it's my parents, a nice wooden table top under my newspaper. A childhood lesson I'll never forget!) when it was about $10 less than I paid for mine paid my own. So expect some kind of sale.
