Review on πŸ‘ž Sperry Men's Boat Shoe Sahara: Classic Style and Superior Comfort in Every Step by Jeff Alradwan

resized! It's too tight now.

I ordered the exact same size 10 "Sahara" from Revain, several years apart. I liked the first pair but they were worn out so it was time to buy a replacement. I decided there was no reason to change anything, so I ordered the same configuration for 2021 as for 2017. Unfortunately, the new shoes came from a different factory and now fit differently in the toe box. When I ordered these shoes in 2017, they came from a factory in Indonesia. In 2021, the same shoes were made in the Dominican Republic. The quality of the shoes from the Dominican Republic seems to be good so far, but they are much narrower in the toe area than my Indonesian shoes. I compared the two outsole versions with the outsole and the Indonesian outsole is noticeably wider (see picture attached to review). Even if the difference seems quite small at first glance, the new shoes cause blisters on my little toes when I walk. I hope they wear out over time but my first pair never had this problem. If I order these shoes again I will get them in a size larger. I don't mind if Sperry moves production to another country, but they have to make sure that the product doesn't change significantly in the process. In this case they failed and my fingers are paying the price.
