Update: Sensor and night light have been working for almost a year. No problems in winter and summer. That's great! It even works in a display case! The setting format allows for many variations. I use a setting that turns on the night light at dusk and moves about 16 feet. My light is a bit dim and I think the vitreous really limits the distance. Sense of movement at 5 . Maybe more if I have big draws. But up close, for example right next to him, it happens very quickly. I have a 3 minute timer. I didn't stay that long as it's really cold now and he was checking it out. Information on how it is holding up will be announced later when it rains and there is more moisture and movement.
