The drive in the 2TB HD770 I bought on May 25th is not RAID friendly and doesn't go well with the drive, which I want to use for moving data (available in terms of a lot of writing and rewriting). See image. Seagate 2TB model number ST2000LM007-1R8174 with SMR technology. SMR is electroplated magnetic recording and makes writing and overwriting data on the hard drive very VERY slow. The fact that they HID that this is an SMR drive is key to understanding how bad this technology is. Why not enter the ADATA specification?. I will request a refund as soon as possible.
