Hisense customer service can be slow

I purchased this item and after about a month I started having audio cut off issues. I was using HDMI ARC so I switched the HDMI cable and it seemed to work for a while. About a month later it got worse. I would cut it out and go back to TV audio. I switched to an optical cable and that seemed to make it better, but it still disconnects. The sound is muted, the indicator flashes several times, and the sound is turned on again. I've tried all basic troubleshooting. I tried to contact the manufacturer as the return period has expired. You are terrible! They link you to 'Headquarters' and say someone will get back to you within 48 hours. That didn't happen. When I tried again they said it was at "headquarters" and someone would call me (no time frame). They didn't tell me how long it would take or when anyone would contact me. They don't give you a direct tech support number. Hisense has a rating of 1.4 BBB. Obviously their customer service is a big issue. Revane finally intervened. Edit: I finally heard from Hisense customer service. It took longer than I was willing to wait but they contacted me and solved my issues. I hope they will resolve customer service issues faster in the future. I like the product. It was a pity to return it because it didn't work and I couldn't fix it at the time. Now I have another one and hope I don't run into any problems.
