Received the next day after ordering. They are heavy brass, the hold down spring is very strong and the blade grips the valve stem really well but leaks. I can't pump air into the tank. As soon as the air pump turns on, the air is thrown out. My friend had a spare valve stem and I used it to stop the air leak, but as soon as I removed the clamp from the stem it blew all the air out of this lousy "cartridge". save your money "Cheap" plastic no longer looks cheap.
