Clear winner in the receiver and amplifier category
My soft English power amp suddenly shut down just after Thanksgiving. My favorite audio consultants have unfortunately closed - what a loss - no tech support available. I have enjoyed Super Hi FI streaming on Roon for years and have grown accustomed to the exceptional sound and presence. So I did my own research and listened to a very solid, very competent, very refined and powerful Cambridge Audio integrated amplifier. Very close to my beautiful old system. But then comes this integrated Peachtree amplifier that magically revitalizes my deteriorating hearing, packaged and engineered with unexpected confidence. This creates the incredible presence of a living 3D sound image through my premium speakers. Miles, Brubeck and Solti have never sounded so good after years of listening. Musicals are amazing. Big surprise. Wow. First class.
