Works, but not USB three. Data throughput is slower because it's USP two I think. It is difficult to connect a USB device to IDE hard drives here. But it's a much smarter solution than the wired connections I'm used to. mainly because you don't have to deal with a shaky cable that can come loose. This particular one was almost as expensive as these making it a good value. It would be five stars out of five if it was USB three. Makes polling data very, very slow. That may be because I'm spoiled with my USB 3 SATA docking station.
