I love this product but my black lab can easily handle it if he wants to. Of course, this makes things more difficult and she is rather reluctant to go there with it, but she will easily put both paws down and put them on my console as usual. One thing I don't really like is the hole at the bottom in relation to where my air conditioner blows out. Every car is unique so I'm sure everyone is different but on my Dodge Charger the vents are blown out in the center to keep air out of the back of the car. I have a child in a car seat and need to take it off so I can get air in it. Installation was also a major pain for the bottom two hooks. It took some time and a lot of pain to assemble them under both seats. The top ones were easy. Also, this product does not work with headrests that connect to the seats. You will need these small adjustable metal stands for assembly. I missed it but luckily I have them in my car. If I could do it again I would get a splitter that is fully interlocking (they are there) to allow better AC flow for my rear console.
