Review on Canon PowerShot A3100IS Stabilized 2 7 Inch Camera & Photo by Adam Bates

Bought this camera as a Christmas present. I love taking photos and I had an idea of what I was looking for. My nephew was so excited when he opened it up and started taking photos! Can't comment on the video function (although my little Canon is great for video) but the photo quality, LCD size, settings and overall size are great! I like the 4x optical zoom with image stabilization (very important in my opinion!) because it's a good zoom with no blur. One important feature that I found difficult to find in cameras of a similar size and cost was the battery type. I like lithium batteries because they last a long time and you don't have to keep buying new batteries when they run out. I just wish it had a viewfinder but most don't have one these days and my nephew wouldn't use it anyway! The Canon brand is also a great brand in my opinion. I currently have a 50D DSLR, but before that I had an XTi. My Canon printer, a small camera (I carry it in my handbag) and a camcorder. Never had a problem with any of them!
