Yesterday I played golf in white. I will say that I first smeared myself with sunscreen and then after a few hours put my sleeves on. So I can't say for sure that they are 100% responsible for the fact that I didn't get burned yesterday, but I didn't burn my arms at all. Although I got them specifically for SPF, I was very surprised at how cooling they are. It seems counterintuitive that wearing more clothes makes you cooler, but it seems to have helped. Do you know that feeling when you stand in the sun when your skin feels hot? I didn't feel it at all, and I think that explains a lot of why I felt so cool. They were thin enough that I could feel the wind coming up. Let me repeat again: I wore them to play golf. And I ran And I carried my bag. In June. It was hot and I was sweating and my hands felt great. I am a woman with rather thin hands. They fit well, don't sag and aren't baggy. I wonder if they fit very muscular arms because they fit mine so damn well. They are VERY stretchy, so maybe, but I can't say for sure. At least I know they work great for me. I look forward to using them until the end of the golf season.
