There is no critical rating for this device. I am planning to use this with Alexa voice control in my home automation system but haven't started building the system yet. I tried to find adequate documentation on their help site. I found the online documentation to be quite extensive, but very few of them address the needs of users with deep technical knowledge. So be careful if you are a techie and need help from Samsung. Independent user forums may be a better choice. I think Samsung tech support has been inundated with calls since Lowes announced they were retiring their IRIS home automation system around February 1st and indeed approved Samsung's SmartThings system as a replacement. In early February I tried to contact tech support. I've waited on the line for over 30 minutes several times before ending the call. I finally submitted my question on February 3rd via their website. My reply came TWENTY-THREE days later, and then it didn't answer my question. When I responded by rephrasing my question, I received a response within 24 hours. I think when you get to the front of the queue, stay there until your problem is resolved. That's five stars for the router, but only three stars for Samsung's technical support.
