This is a very impressive machine for the price. I've used a cheap flux-cored wire welder whenever I needed to weld something for the last 10 years, and while I knew how to use it, "my grinder made me the welder I'm not in 10 minutes." after construction and I laid out the most beautiful beads I have ever made. The device is easy to set up and works very well. I love that this unit runs at 110 and 220. So if I rewire my garage later, I can benefit from that. I was worried about gas costs, but in a suburb of Chicago I didn't think it was that bad. $100 for a tank and $40 for C25 gas. This is for a 40 cu ft tank - this should give me about two hours of actual weld time. As for the flaws, I haven't found them yet. In case you were wondering, the gas inlet tube on the back fits a 5/16 inch hose. Now I'm looking for new projects so I can weld. :) Update 10/1/2020 - I used this welder on the exhaust system for my project car. It worked very well and I was able to do a complete exhaust system from the manifolds to the end. I am very impressed with this little piece of equipment.
