So I ordered 4 different brands of Muslim duvets because I'm a bit picky about the texture and weight of duvets which can be difficult when shopping online. I had my doubts because of the cost, but I'm also new to Muslim blankets. I am delighted with this blanket. It was packaged in a small cloth pouch that matched the comforter. The blanket doesn't smell bad which to be honest I'm really pleased about that as I've been noticing a factory smell on the blankets on Amazon lately - this one has a very "clean" smell if it has any at all. I didn't have to wash it before use, which is rare! I'm happy about that because this is the blanket I received, like a "snuggle blanket" (I have insomnia) and this blanket has improved my sleep and even my skin! Before I discovered Muslim blankets I would snuggle up to a fleece or faux fur blanket and they were known to deteriorate with washing so these blankets also damaged my skin as I worried about washing them often. So this blanket has 5 stars. around. The pattern is so pretty, it's also a versatile floral pattern that doesn't stand out from other patterns (mine is beach blue with a subtle mandala pattern) and it doesn't look bad at all next to my pillow. The color of the flowers is beautiful light blue and gray, beautifully detailed and soft tones. I'm honestly so happy with this blanket. This comforter feels so light and cool, but it's the heaviest of the 4 I've bought from different brands. I can't say anything bad, but I wouldn't give it another 5 stars. If I rate something with 5 stars, it means that the product has become something very special - I only write reviews if the product "moves" me. This is a real review, I am 29 years old, have insomnia and this blanket has changed my life. I also left other Muslim blankets, one will be my 'outside' Cody blanket for chilly New York summer nights on my patio and the other smaller one for the baby, so I will use it as a cozy blanket on the couch for my face , as I love the feel and my skin is sooo sensitive (I sleep with it like I'm on a body pillow but I'm holding it and most of the blanket is under my face/on my chest). Old fleece and faux fur blankets gave me acne, especially in the summer, but I couldn't sleep without them. Weighted blankets scare me because they are weighted. and I have insomnia so it feels more like a trapped feeling than a relief. So duvets are a comfort to me and I take my duvet choices very seriously (laughs). So this quilt, which is a regular quilt, had a lot more benefits than I expected. I really recommend it and was very hesitant at first - it's warm but light, very well made, beautiful, exactly as pictured, exactly as described. Thank you seller for my new favorite blanket!
