Review on 🚪 Outdoor Stairway Special Baby/Pet Gate - Brown Color by Rachel Johnson

A very good product for my purpose. It's also very well done. I have the outdoor version as it has stainless steel hardware that will not rust from the elements on my deck. I just installed it and adjusted the expandable gate to fit my opening. It was pretty easy. A bit pricey but I was thinking of building a gate out of wood but on cost analysis I found it would cost about the same for wood plus I would have to build it. I have found that the plastic bushings tend to get in the way a bit when trying to lift the gate off the latch so I lubricated them with dry graphite and now they run very smoothly. Unlike liquid lubes, dry graphite (available at auto parts stores) does not attract dirt/dust and should allow the bushings to last much longer without leaving an oily mess. I think I made the right choice by going this route.
