I love these chairs! I bought two for my living room (which is still painting and finishing Renault). I left the black rubber that comes with them on the legs to protect the hardwood floors, but it's a soft brushed brass/bronze for the legs with a hard amber rubber on the bottom. The chairs are so comfortable! It tilts, has a simple design, rotates and adjusts the headrest. They *don't* swing and are HEAVY! They seem very sturdy and I even fell asleep in one of them. I will say if you want it to be "plush" it isn't. It's a firmer chair, so while it looks very soft, it's a lot firmer, but I don't think it feels uncomfortable. The color is definitely 70s mustard yellow. If you don't want a vintage I would suggest buying another chair or be prepared to remodel it. I like the color yellow but I can see that some people might think the chair looks "dated". To me it looks fancy, feels fancy and I'm a happy buyer. They come in huge packages, almost fully assembled, so be prepared.
