Review on High-Performance Sigma 30mm F1.4 Art Lens πŸ“· for Canon: A Must-Have for Precision and Creative Photography by Chun Chun ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality is ok on the whole, it has some small flaws.

I came to the store . naturally I undertook to test this miracle of technology on my canon 700d . Yes ! I was pleased with the picture . but it's only up to 2 meters, + if you need to shoot in a room - this is the lens for you! Everything is perfect! BUT ! if you shoot at a distance of more than 3 meters, then everything starts to float and lather . I tried both on AF and on MF there is no difference . the bricks of the house (across the road) are already floating . so if you need a lens for landscapes or the night sky or something else further 5m . forget it! Do not take ! after I gave this fix to the seller . I wound up my 18-135, set the focus. Ras. at 30mm . I tried to do the same on my own - the clarity in the distance is MUCH higher, at a distance of 20-50m everything is perfect and without visible HA . I don’t know . I didn’t take it \u003d\

Pros
  • luminosity! compactness shooting in dimly lit rooms
Cons
  • 1- no stabilizer - for a rough example: F1.4 without a stub = F2.8-4 depending on which stub. (I am writing this because it makes no sense to open the aperture when shooting handheld . when shooting from a tripod, this is not considered a disadvantage) 2- further than 3-4 meters, clarity is lost (checked for f1.4 - f3.5 \ shutter speed 1 \ 350) 3- PRICE! 4-HA! everywhere, on any frame (where the distance is more than 5m)
