Made it to Hermosa Beach for the first bodysurfing in the Pacific. I surfed Lake Erie as a kid before we knew what a counter current was. Spent many days body surfing at Crescent Beach on Siesta Key. Thunder worked exactly as I had hoped. Donner got us out of the water and doubled the length of our runs. Even better, Grom stabilized our rides, especially after the dips at the end. You don't realize how good it is until you give it to someone else. The only flaw is that you have to drive twice as far to get back to the break. Next time I'll try some fins because I missed a couple of runs that passed me before I could fly out.
