Half the price of an echo dot but sounds better without Alexa lol! This was perfect for my daughter's room which has similar multi colored light fixtures. The breathing mode that cycles through the color spectrum is cool. You can also set any color. Once you see the color you want to be static, simply press the touch-sensitive ring on top of the device and it stays that color! You can use it as a bluetooth speaker or just as a light display. . The sound quality is decent enough. Your teenage girl will appreciate it. It's portable, so she loves the fact that she can listen to her music while she's in the shower. Of course you can't take it in the shower... The only thing I have against it is the Bluetooth range. The default maximum Bluetooth s/b range is 30 feet. I barely went beyond the 20-foot range for this speaker, and it started leaking sound. I am a lover of cheap but useful gadgets and this can be attributed to one of them. And with that said, I'm glad I made this purchase.
