Review on πŸ”Š Jamo J-10-Blk 10 Inch Front Firing Woofer in Black - Enhanced for SEO by Sophia Sanchez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Dirty, muddy bass.

I have a Klipsch R-10SW that I really like. Jamo is part of the same parent company as Klipsch. It looks like this Jamo J10 SUB is exactly the same speaker as the Klipsch mentioned above, minus the woofer driver itself. Cabinet and casing, port and tube, plate-connected amplifier look exactly the same, renamed the Jamo. But I think Jamo's version sounds pretty awful. the dirty spills over into the mid-bass, the Jamo lacks the punch, brilliance and articulation of the Klipsch version, and no matter how low you set the crossover frequency, the mid-bass is a swampy mess of mud. - Insignia's signature paper cone subwoofer that comes with a cost-effective open space home theater system that sounds noticeably more musical and impactful.
