Plastic but durable

I had the 4k 30Hz version before I switched to the 4k 60Hz version. Even though the 4k 30Hz version is all plastic/rubber, the cable feels really solid, which helps leverage the light plastic feel of the HDMI end of the adapter. Overall this is the best option if you absolutely don't need 4k 60Hz. Runs cooler and much cheaper
