REDUCE SIZE. PURPLE NOT PURPLE!
Color totally inaccurate on "purple" This is not the regal bright purple as pictured. It's actually more of a dark purple burgundy. I bought this dress for our anniversary dinner as our wedding colors were purple and grey. I wanted a purple dress for our 5th birthday party but it is NOT purple. It also has a poor fit, very sloppy in fact. The ruffle on the side is HUGE, almost as wide as the dress, so all that extra HEAVY fabric is hanging there. It has a relaxed fit, which is great too. I'm usually 12/14 so it should have been my turn, but it's not. I swam in it and it didn't fit like the fitted look of the model. The top is elastic and the material has a lot of stretch, so I'd say go one size down. It didn't work for me. Wrong colour, fabric and cut were unsuitable for a formal dinner. Random. Returned.
