In the end they work, but they don't last long. I believe that fifteen diamond crowns of any kind can be very cheap, and they are cheap compared to many, but they are hardly okay. Compared to other bits of the same size that I have, they are flimsy and clearly not made one iota. Most importantly, they will not withstand many punctures. I used it yesterday to drill a "fairly deep" hole and I would say at least half of the diamond coating is already gone. This is compared to the other chisel which has been used about 30 times and still has a long service life. I have also checked every drill and many are slightly out of round - the shanks are not set exactly. Positioning the drill very close to the drill chuck often improves the situation somewhat. So for one-off tasks and small projects, this is fine, but don't think of them as long-term investments.
