Warning: Not safe for small dogs in normal right side up configuration
The fence was not safe for one of our small dogs. He jumped up and down and got his paw stuck in the gap between the top rails. See the photo of the gap where my finger is. The little guy let out a series of horrible screams. I had to free his paw. I'm glad I was there when it happened. I intended to return the goods but realized that the hazard could be avoided by turning the fence upside down. Thus, the top rails form right angles, minimizing the gap. See photo of inverted fence.
