The box was a bit smaller so I had to open both ends to push out the antenna and the edges were a bit flattened but once installed it took shape. The perfect diameter to hide the Factor Tower on my 2017 MX-5. Very solid and I don't hear any whistling or other noise from the antenna with the top down. Shorter signal range than the factory mast, which is to be expected, but I never listen to the radio anyway. I always listen to the music stored on my phone. I'm not sure how well the rubber holds up to UV rays and temperature changes, but it's cheap enough that replacing it isn't much of a problem.
