This is a mixing motor servo motor that switches the air conditioning between front vents, defrost vents and floor vents. If your air conditioner is working but not switching between ventilation modes, this part needs to be replaced. This drive is located on the passenger side behind the glove compartment on the left. See fig. There are 3 screws holding it in place. The bottom/front screw is accessible with a Phillips screwdriver. The bottom/rear bolt is accessible with a 1/4 round pin ratchet and a short extension. The top front screw is accessible with a medium length 1/4 ratchet extension and swivel/angle adapter. These screws are not easy to reach and require a lot of patience. The glove box and all panels around the glove box must be removed. First, watch a YouTube video on how to remove the panel.
