I bought this to upgrade my computer to 802.11ac for my home office. Unfortunately, the adapter is very unreliable and connection or connectivity issues often occur. When it connects to a 5GHz network, I get 802.11ac speeds, which is incredibly fast for anyone using the legacy protocol. However, the lack of a stable connection, dropped connections, and general unreliability of the connection rendered them unusable. Other reviewers have noted that this is not suitable for Windows 10. While it's true that the drivers don't install on Windows 10 and the company's drivers for Windows 10 aren't supported, the Windows 10 adapter is plug-and-play - it recognizes you and works fine when connected. Of course, I can't say exactly how much my connection problems are related to the missing drivers, but I would like to note that I bought an alternative adapter with a large antenna that works perfectly under Windows 10 without special driver installation. )
