I have Windows 8. I had to install the drivers manually so I go to TP-Link website and download the driver for the V3 hardware version which has the release date 2018-11 specified is -09. Today is December 26th, 2018. I download and install and my windows device manager says the driver date is 2018-2-12 with version 1030.22.202.2018.
