I've been having trouble with my wireless signal lately so I decided to install WAP above and replace my outdated Belkin N600 adapter. I ordered this TP-LINK adapter because the price was reasonable. After setting up my new WAP, I connected this adapter and downloaded the latest driver for Windows 10. The adapter status showed over 300MB in the driver, but I could never get the adapter to go over 70MB with the new WAP , although the speed of my internet is 150 MB. Even with my old Belkin adapter, which got finicky at times, I could smash 100MB. I tried 2 and 5 gigabyte channels and neither was faster than the other. When switching, this adapter connects, then disconnects and reconnects a few more times before the connection is stable. This product needs improvement. I see other people leaving similar reviews. I ran to the local store and bought a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. The price was a little higher, but my WiFi speed consistently exceeds my line speed of 150MB+ I ran to the local store and bought a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900.
