I have two chest freezers at home and I was looking for an inexpensive way to control the temperature in them, this is just what I needed. I've tried different brands and styles but they have everything I need. Other brands were often difficult to read, fogged up, required special low-temperature batteries, or were inaccurate. They come with pre-installed batteries that work when it's cold, they're easy to read and very accurate. I tested the accuracy of these two thermometers on two different versions to ensure they were accurate. Both were always within a degree of the other two thermometers, which I know are accurate. I was impressed. At this price I almost expected that they would have problems. I'm very glad to be wrong. They come with pre-installed batteries. All you have to do is turn them on and they are ready to go. They are preset to degrees Celsius but can be switched to Fahrenheit with a simple push of a button. No complicated buttons to press to make adjustments. Overall, I am enthusiastic about these thermometers and can only recommend them. I plan to order more of these for family members. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on the temperature in your fridge and freezer to stay safe, and this is an inexpensive way to do it.
