Review on Inkbird Combination Bluetooth Thermometer Carrying by Jonathan King

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very inaccurate temperature.

This thermos is fine. If you like to overcook things. I bought these when I needed a multi-probe for smoking multiple meats. This was seen as a bad choice. I smoked the pork shoulder, I had the probe in the meat and the ambient probe in the grill to see what temp everything was. and I noticed that smoking for 10 hours at 2255°C was harsh. I decided to try again and used my regular probe as a secondary probe to see what was going on. The Inkbird probe continued to show a 40°F difference compared to my thermal probe. After smoking for 6 hours and simply trusting my normal temperature sensor, I decided to give it a try. I used the same probe in boiling water. I know my boiling point of water at my altitude. Let the probe warm up along with the water. Once it reached a temperature that hadn't changed for 5 minutes, I started the test and posted the photos I had taken. I have used 4 dipsticks, Bluetooth Inkbird, Inkbird Instant Read, Thermopro and regular oil temp gauge (not pictured). Conclusions: I wish I knew it was junk before my return date (ie today). Too bad I didn't. Don't waste my money. I would advise you not to waste yours.
