I have multiple dogs and use multiple collars for each dog. I have one in the lab. He likes to dig holes next to the fence. Apparently in the same areas. It replaced yelling, throwing things, or trying to guess where he might hit next, and setting up a crude booby trap like a mousetrap or noisemaker. So I can see him digging and I just put my hand through him. After that I see him running away from the fence. Now when I go outside I literally have to drag or pick him up to get through the gate. Different settings also help a lot. When I put it on him for the first time, he wasn't thrilled that it was around his neck. Now he stays in the yard and listens to me more.
