We had a skylight that had fogged up over the years and cost at least $500 or more to replace. Instead we bought this window film and applied it in about an hour. The foil is quite thick, and after carefully measuring it and cutting it according to the instructions, we wet the glass and the inside of the foil with water and a small amount of washing-up liquid. We placed it by the window and trimmed it, stood back and admired the work. Some notice that the colors don't appear; however, this depends on the angle of the sun. Our screen is actually shaded so we don't care but we see some colors. Conclusion: Easy installation, economy and good looks. If we get tired of it, we can remove it and try another template.
