RENPHO Bluetooth I like very much!: the whole truth about this product

I bought this scale almost two years ago, but it is only now that I am ready to write a review. And I am also very glad that I purchased this particular, 1st version of Xiaomi scales, the model is XMTZC02HM, they are called differently everywhere: Mi Body Composition Scale, Xiaomi Mi Smart Body Fat Scale, and Xiaomi Smart Weight Scale... , in general, who is like ... and how exactly it is called, I personally didn’t figure it out, I know that the model is XMTZC02HM, but I don’t really like the following versions (XMTZC04HM and XMTZC05HM) with glass (precisely because of the glass). Now, it’s quite difficult to find people like me on sale, but of course you can both on Ali and in our online stores, if you look carefully. So, my floor scales from Xiaomi, model XMTZC02HM. They are delivered in a box, as, in principle, almost all bathroom scales. Design in the style of the company - white color and minimalism in graphics: Inside, the scales were packed in a bag and cardboard holders so that they would not be damaged during transportation: And also inside there was a small instruction, although it is all in Chinese, but some parameters are still clear: For example - dimensions: 300x300x20mm; weight: 1.6kg; withstands weight up to 150 kg... So, the scales themselves: They have a really cool design (for me personally) - rounded edges, matte white plastic that is pleasant to the touch with matte aluminum circles in each corner (for foot support). It actually looks cosmic. Embossed logo in the center: Bottom rubber feet: This is a very good solution, the scales do not slip, but are very stable, this is especially important when you lay them on a tile. And the model is also listed: The scales work from four little finger batteries (AAA): By the way, the batteries are still worth the ones that the seller put on Ali for us, I don’t remember this moment, but the description for the scales indicates that there are no batteries in the kit, which means they were given to us as a bonus. As you can see, the scales do not have an electronic scoreboard. The numbers shine as if from the inside, displayed on the surface: Moreover, I was not able to catch these numbers right away and it turned out only on the phone, the camera eventually displayed some underexposed numbers (semi-digits), which means the glow is flickering, we just don’t see it ... To be honest, I doubted that they would withstand 100 kg, because they look painfully tender, but no, it’s checked, they can withstand more than 100 kg. About 150 I will not say. Scales work for a reason, but via bluetooth with the Mi Fit application (works with both iOS and Android), with the same as with Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelets. I don’t use bracelets from this manufacturer now (but I think they are cool in their segment). We go in the Mi Fit application to the "Profile" tab and search for devices in the "Scales" section: The search usually takes a couple of seconds. As soon as they appear in the list of your devices, then all your weighings will be recorded in the log. If you have not used this application before, then it is better to enter all your data into it (age, height, weight, etc...). Of course, the scale works great on its own, that is, if you don't want to bother with the app tracking your progress or regression. For example, I also didn’t use the application for almost a year (as I switched from the Mi Band bracelet to the Apple Watch). That is, in principle, here at your discretion. But nevertheless this function is. How is the recording going? You stand on the scale (it is important that the surface is flat), the Mi Fit program is running: I weighed myself 3 weeks ago. Also, the application will give you some analysis of the state of your body: Of course, I don’t pay much attention to it, since everything is individual ... Despite the fact that my weight at that time was 52 kg, the program still shows that according to my parameters, it would be ideal for me to gain up to 53.4 ... But I know my genetic characteristics and I know that I feel comfortable at 48 kg. And at 48 kg I'm not thin! By the way, if you use an iPhone and go to the Health app (initially allowing access to Mi Fit), then your weight data will also be displayed there: There are tabs to see the weighing schedule for today, for a week, for a month, for a year ... Somewhere in the reviews I read that the scales give inaccurate data. I was interested in comparing. After the last weighing three weeks ago, I dropped a little grams (I deliberately went to this, it’s quite difficult for me to lose), I took a scale from another manufacturer for a single use and compared. Yes, there are minor differences. Saturn scales: They gave a result of 51.8 kg. Now Xiaomi: The difference is 400 grams. But here the question arises: who to believe?))) It is clear that a third copy is needed here, but, unfortunately, I don’t have more. I then remeasured, and those scales and those showed the same value, that is, they did not float, if at least one gave a difference in one direction or another, then one would think that the floating scales were acting up, but no, they both gave out their readings: Saturn - 51.8 kg, Xiaomi - 51.4 kg. But for me personally, this really doesn’t matter at all, since I only focus on one scale, I look at them, whether I lose weight or, on the contrary, gain weight (although I intuitively guess my weight by my feelings). And I know that they are not mistaken, since they will never show that I have gained extra grams or kg if I know exactly what I have lost. Same with my husband, never had a floating reading. And in general, there was still no such thing that they suddenly did not turn on (there are no buttons on the scales, you get up and they show, you do not need to perform any manipulations to wake up or something), or some incorrect hieroglyphs. Personally, I think that the scales are accurate, and the appearance of many will please! If you're interested, take a look. The principle of operation for all variants of Xiaomi scales is the same, only the design differs, and then only slightly, but I like this one, without a glass surface. And I am glad that with the course of operation, the plastic remains the same snow-white. In January 2019, I bought this version of the scales on AliExpress for 3250 rubles. Now new versions can be bought cheaper.
