I first bought it for photography. The way the scheduling worked, my husband used it for video interviews before I got a chance to use it. It was great because he could easily adjust the lighting to make the interviewer look his best. It was easy to set up and use. He left it on all the time, so I don't know about the battery life. It connected easily to his computer and cell phone. A great ring light for the price!
