This is my first K&N air filter since receiving my 02 Explorer Sport 45k Miles. After receiving the package, I ripped it open, looked at the instructions, and then quickly and easily installed the air filter. It took about three minutes and everything worked. Because this air filter has fewer restrictions, it lets MUCH more air through than a standard air filter. The increase in air allows the fuel to burn more efficiently, which presumably increases gas mileage, but I don't know because I always hit the gas to hear the air filter whistle. It's pretty nice. Buy this air filter, you will not be disappointed.
